Notes:

One of four G-IIs used by NASA as STAs (Shuttle Training Aircraft). Because the Space Shuttle lacked the ability to go around in the event of an unstabilized approach, the four STAs were modified to mimic the Shuttle's flight characteristics. To do so, software modifications were made to allow the thrust reversers to deploy inflight and hardware modifications to allow the flaps to deploy upward, all to mimic the aerodynamics of a brick. The left side of the cockpit was also set up as the Shuttle cockpit, while the right side retained the normal G-II cockpit for the instructor and emergencies.
