Built in 1956, this was one of the first F-102As delivered to the USAF. In fact, this one was assigned to the 327th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, which was the first squadron to receive the Delta Dagger. This frame traveled with the 327th to Greenland for Air Defense duty in April of 1956. Although no further information on this serial number is currently available, it was likely retired when its squadron was deactivated in 1960, but details are uncertain.
