Alice, a 1955 built Samaritan, cranking up for a morning hop to the Bahamas. This bird served in the US Navy until 1986 when it was struck from the inventory. From there its fate was unclear until 1998 when it joined the Beaufort County Mosquito Control Unit thru 2010. After 2010 it passed hands a few times eventually until 2017 when Conquest Air acquired her. Now she makes nearly daily cargo runs. What a machine!
