Two RNZAF McDonnel Douglas A-4K ‘Kiwi Red’ Skyhawks did a ‘Buddy Refuelling’ demo at the RAAF 70th Anniversary Air Display at RAAF Base Richmond YSRI on 11Oct1991. TA-4K NZ6254 Cn 14097 is shown doing airborne refuelling of NZ6209, with the A-4K venting fuel after filling her tanks. According to Scramble NL, TA-4K NZ6255, and A-4K NZ6205 were also present at this airshow. (The RAAF conducted a 100th Anniversary massed flypast over Canberra on 31Mar2021.)
