This old Japanese aircraft arrived in Sri Lanka from the Philippines in 2019 and was supposed be operated domestically by Air Sakurai. Unfortunately, it never flew once after its arrival and remained parked at Ratmalana Airport for years. RP-C2252 was dismantled in 2022 and sent to a museum in Japan, after which it left Sri Lanka.
