Prototype of long-range anti-submarine helicopter Mi-26NEF-M, had the ability to carry on an external sling a hydroacoustic search and detection station for submarines. Subsequently sold and converted to Mi-26T. The helicopter was on the apron of the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant for a long time and has been moved to the museum of Mil brand products. In 2013, it was transported to Krasnodar for restoration.
