New aircraft for me, both picture wise and knowledge-wise. The Dornier DO-28 is a STOL (Short-takeoff & landing) aircraft designed in Germany in the 1950s-60s. Its primary user was the German Air Force. // However, this specific registration … even if innocent-looking parked at Queretaro... was owned by a drug dealer who worked for el Chapo called "José Vázquez Villagrán", alias: El "Jabalí. The aircraft was confiscated when he was arrested in 2010, along with two other planes which were used to transport the illicit substances from Oaxaca/Chiapas and up to a ranch in Sonora. Twelve years later, the aircraft is abandoned and collecting dust on a field at Queretaro's airport next to XB-MLZ (unrelated.)
