Preparing to taxi out from the FedEx facility, operating flight 1299 to Memphis International Airport (MEM). On 7 April 1994, this aircraft was involved in an attempted hijacking-suicide (as Federal Express flight 705). Despite sustaining massive injuries in the attack, the captain was able to fly the airplane well in excess of its structural design limits and make a successful overweight landing.
