Preserved at Italian Air Force museum of Vigna di Valle.
Constructed in many thousands of specimens throughout the great war and adopted by the French, English, Belgian, Russian, Italian and American military aviation, the SPAD was the fighter of some of the most famous "aces"; this specimen belonged to the ace Fulco Ruffo di Calabria (20 victories) and is the oldest existing SPAD in the world (September 1916).
