The Special Occasion was the Bi-Centennial (200 years) of the founding of Australia. These aircraft were ‘half’ of four Winjeels which flew an Australia Day Formation Flypast over Melbourne. The Flypast was advertised in the local media, and was watched by many thousands of people.
