This is it.. the last KLM passenger 747 departed it's homebase Amsterdam, after nearly 50 years of 747 operations at KLM, this has come to an sad end without a proper goodbye. KL9879 shortly after liftoff from rwy 04 bound for Teruel for temporary storage, it will be converted to a freighter for Longtail Aviation among the PH-BFT and PH-BFW, hopefully we will see them back in Amsterdam one day.
