[1600px - Farewell KA] Not very often do we see a need to bid farewell to a home carrier - but such was the case on 21 October 2020, when Cathay Pacific announced the immediate cessation of Cathay Dragon (formerly Dragonair). That announcement brought an end to 35 years of flying for an airline that started off with a lone B737-200. Pictured here is B-LBD on stand W69 under some nice morning sun, and all the more memorable as she was the very last KA A330 to fly in the iconic Dragonair colours. She has since been repainted to the new Cathay Dragon livery in July 2020.
