VP-FBL arriving from Cozumel on a first visit along with sister ship VP-FBB on their way to the Antarctica. These Twin Otters and their Dash 7 every year around September/October start their journey from Canada all the way down to Antarctica and return the same way around February/March. These are the "summer" months and during which the research season occurs. These are a first visit as they always use Panama as a tech-stop but due to limitations set by the panamanian government, they opted to use SJO instead.
