Notes:

Produced on 11/01/1944 and delivered to USAAF under No. 42-92496 and assigned to RAF (British Air Force) where it received the prefix FZ-697. After World War II, he returned to the USAAF, being donated to the Canadian Air Force. In Brazil it flew with the following airlines: LAN (Linhas Aéreas Natal) from 1946 to 1950, under the prefix PP-JAB; by Real, after the purchase of LAN, in 1950, with the prefix PP-YPU; finally by VARIG, starting in 1961, after having acquired Real. Deactivated by VARIG, it was sold to Caraíba Metais SA (Grupo Pignatari), which transformed it into an executive plane. On May 21, 1976, it was acquired by Cooperativa de Colonização 31 de Março Ltda - COOPERCOOL - headquartered in Barra do Garças-MT. After being used by Coopercol, the plane was loaned to the Colonization Company Conagro, which was managed by Norberto Schwantes. In May 1977 Guido Rauber, together with the board of Coopercol, requested the return of the plane to the Cooperative. With the plane in possession, Coopercol's board tried to make an air transport line from Canarana to Barra do Garças viable, but due to maintenance and fuel costs, the idea became unfeasible. The board then tried to sell the plane. He stipulated a price, but they did not appear interested in the deal. The months passed and the plane started to suffer the damages of the time and the action of people. In 1981 the Coopercol manager, Guido Afonso Rauber, suggested to the Coopercol board that the plane be donated to the City Hall in order to be placed in the Central Square and serve as a monument. The inspiration for this idea Guido looked for in an existing square in the city of Canoas-RS, which also has a plane as a monument. Municipal Administrator Luiz Cancian accepted the donation and helped transport the plane from the airport located on the current Avenida São Paulo to Praça Siegfrid Roewer in May 1981. The aircraft was pulled by a small tractor and it was necessary to cut some trees to make it possible to pass through the streets and avenues. In the beginning the plane was placed close to the ground and with that it continued to suffer damage. In 1990, in the Administration Darci Romio and Guido Rauber, the plane was suspended with concrete pillars at the height that is still today.
