Notes:

Framed in light at IAF Museum Palam, the Bis was the most numerous of the MiG-21 variants to serve the IAF, really a “People’s Fighter”. The Bis was remarkably agile in flight, as well as a good ground-attack platform. It used to be quite a sight coupled with the lovely double bangs of these fast movers as they went supersonic. For a long time the spear tip of IAF’s fighter fleet, the MiG-21 has held the line through many conflicts.
