Notes:

Douglas Dakota Mk IV, C-47B-30-DK Skytrain, (s/n) 44-76590, (c/n 16174/32922). Built in 1944 for USAAF. Transferred to RAF in 1945 and after repairs, it was given the new tail code KN451 and re-designated a Dakota Mk IV. On 1 November 1950, KN451 was designated an instructional airframe at the RCAF Technical Training School, Camp Borden (Ontario, Canada) as Dakota 655B. In August 1984, it was moved to the Canadian Aviation Museum in Ottawa where it remained outdoors for the next 20 years (CYRO).
