A sad but also unique sight; runway 18L/36R (Aalsmeerbaan) is now in use as a parking spot for grounded KLM-frames, caused by the COVID-19 crisis. At this moment a total of eight planes were parked; three A330-200s, one 777-200ERs and four decomissioned 747-400s, awaiting their final fate after retirement. From front to end: PH-BFY, PH-BFV, PH-BFW, PH-BFL.
