[Museum] The Ilyushin IL-62 was designed and produced by the Ilyushin Design Bureau of the Soviet Union in the 1960s, with max capacity of 186 passengers. China introduced this type of aircraft in the 1970s as chartered planes for CPC leaders, then transfered it over to China's civil aviation for domestic airlines. This Il-62 (No. B-2024) once transported Deputy Prime Minister Deng Xiaoping to the UN General Assembly in April 1974. It is a Class A national cultural heritage.
