“Clipper Flying Cloud” on display in the Boeing Aviation Hangar at Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Ten of these aircraft were built – the prototype was lost in a crash, five went to TWA, three went to Pan Am and Howard Hughes purchased one for his own use. Pan Am flew the Stratoliner till 1947, naming the other two “Clipper Comet” and “Clipper Rainbow”.
