Who knows me well knows that my biggest dream as planespotter was to catch a Boeing 747SP, if possible an active one. So I paid a 24 hour visit to Stuttgart where I had the opportunity to see and photograph SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory For Infrared Astronomy), an ultra-rare airplane of NASA and German Aerospace Center (DLR) used as an airborne observatory with a telescope inside! On that day I was the happiest guy in the world! (1600px)
