Notes:

RAAF ‘AWACS’ CA-27 Sabre Mk32 A94-959 Cn CA27-59 on static display at ‘Fighterworld’ RAAF Base Williamtown on 28Oct2017. (No, Not AWACS, the TPS-43 (Tipsy-43) Radar dish is behind the aircraft!) The Sabre, also known as the 'Sword', was fitted with a Rolls Royce Avon engine. This aircraft (Del: April 1957), was mounted on a plinth at Raymond Terrace NSW, after she was retired in Oct 1976. A94-959 started restoration at Fighterworld, RAAF Williamtown, in May 2014 and was completed in Feb 2016. The restored aircraft is displayed ‘outside’ the Fighterworld hangar, to provide free access to residents of nearby Raymond Terrace. (I photographed this aircraft on landing approach at 'Billsville' on 11May1967 - 50 years between photos of Sword 959).
