"The Mount", one of the best locations at Manchester. Overlooking RWY 23L, the place is excellent for line-up shots, from early morning till midday. Not easy to reach on foot from the terminal. A car is needed (parking at the nearby Airport Inn Hotel and from there a short walk till the black gate and from there follow the path far right) or by public transportation, by bus from the Terminal (Bus route 88, stop "Wilmslow, Altrincham Road / near Moat House") Google maps coordinates as a referene for route planning 53.3493216,-2.27655,15).
