Notes:

"Jane Austen" pulling into gate A9 on the first regularly scheduled LGW-SFO flight in many decades as "Red Nose 7173" with T1 terminal construction behind. Norwegian had become quite successful in OAK across the San Francisco Bay, but Oakland's one wide body capable international arrival gate lead to problems for the carrier, despite there being plenty of domestic gates to tow on to for departure usually to accommodate the next inbound. This combined with SFO not having Gatwick service or low cost flights to London was likely the winning combination for getting the OAK-LGW flight to move to SFO. Odd timing, however, with British Airways having elected not to resume OAK-LGW for the summer of 2019. Nice to see Norwegian here, but odd that "Harvey Milk" or "Freddy Mercury" wasn't the inaugural bird to San Francisco.
