Berlin Tegel TXL / EDDT ‘Otto Lillienthal’ Airport was opened in 1948. This Airport closed on 08Nov2020 after the last flight departed (an Air France service). After years of delays, Berlin - Brandenburg Airport BER / EDDB Opened for airline operations on the same day. Most of the TXL buildings will be demolished – only the hexagonal terminal building will be retained. – Ref: ‘Airways’ website.
