Rear Stbd view of Private V-Tail Beechcraft S35 Bonanza VH-CBR Cn D-7537 at Bundaberg YBUD Queensland on 03Aug2007. A similar aircraft (Reg N3794N, named 'Miss American Pie') crashed near Mason City Iowa, USA, in the early hours on 03Feb1959. The crash claimed the lives of Rock and Roll Legends: Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. Richardson (The Big Bopper.) They were immortalised in Don Maclean's tribute ballad (Bye Bye Miss) 'American Pie'. Hence, Sunday 03Feb2019 was the 60th Anniversary of 'The Day the Music Died'. RIP.
