The Silver Dakota of The Indian Air Force now gracing the beauty of The Bangladesh Air Force Museum in Tejgaon. Gifted by IAF to BAF in 2014, this comes in the wake of a request from the Bangladesh Air Force to have an example of the Dakota in their museum at Tezgaon. IJ817 is a Communication Flight Dakota, just like the original Dakota that served with the Kilo Flight. The Comm Flight Dakotas are equipped with conventional passenger doors instead of the Cargo doors. The aircraft was with Training Command Communication Flight during the 1971 War
