Front Port side view of ‘wheels-down’ RAAF Boeing EA-18G Growler A46-303 Cn AG-3 Bu 169150 Code 303, taken during a practice ILS Approach to Canberra International Airport YSCB on the afternoon of 30Apr2018. (Second ILS Approach for this aircraft that day). Note three external fuel tanks are fitted. This was the first publicly advertised ‘flying’ visit of an RAAF Growler to Canberra. The wing-tip mounted pods help to distinguish the Growler from a ‘Standard’ Super Hornet.
