line no # 44-04 | This short-lived Il-62 was named "Tadeusz Kosciuszko". Manufactured in 1983 and crashed after take off from Warsaw - Okecie May 9th 1987, after two engines caught fire. All 183 occupants were killed. It was the worst tragedy in polish aviation so far.

Nice shot of the IL-62 from the Pan Am World Port. It was a sad day to hear of the crash and the lose of all those souls aboard.
