View of the Flight Deck of RAAF Avro 625A Anson Mk I MG872, displayed in the cramped foyer of the Gippsland Armed Forces Museum at West Sale YWSL Victoria, Australia on 06Mar2017. The aircraft nose is typical of Ansons operated by the RAAF Bombing and Gunnery School during WWII. A video screen mounted in the Cockpit shows a view of an Anson cockpit, In-Flight. This was one of 800 aircraft ordered from A.V. Roe & Co. Ltd., Yeadon, Leeds, to contract B137211/40, Avro Works Order 7799/55. Delivered as 799 Mk.Is and one Mk.XII between August 1942 and January 1944.
