Close-cropped rear Port side view of Luftwaffe Messerschmitt Me 163B1-a Komet Werkenummer 191660 Code 3, taken at Paine Field Seattle KPAE on 30Jul2015. This Me 163 was captured at Husum, Nothern Germany (JG400 airfield) in May1945. The aircraft was restored and repainted at the Imperial War Museum (IWM), Duxford EGSU, England, before it was transferred to Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection, Seattle, USA. (I took a Low Res colour image of this aircraft at Duxford, in Original livery, in September 1992, posted on ALN.)
