Notes:

Off-centre view of the Flight Deck of EAA's Ryan NYP Replica NX211 Cn 2, outside the EAA Museum at Oshkosh (KOSH) Wisconsin USA on 30Jul2016, during EAA Air Venture 2016. (The letters NYP denoted ‘New York to Paris’, accomplished by Charles Lindberg on 20/21May1927. A 33.5 hour non-stop flight, with manual control the whole way, was an outstanding achievement.) This aircraft is essentially an IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) machine, not having windscreens for forward vision by the pilot. That makes taxying, take-off and landing a challenge! Fuel tank contents are determined from graduated markings visible in the cabin (top corners of image).
