This plane had its first flight on 18th July 1955 in Warton. The WG763 was the second (and very last) Electric P1A to be built and one of the prototypes for Britains first Mach 2 aircraft. This aircraft reached a top speed of Mach 1,53. Now displayed at Manchester Museum of Science and Industry.
