[1600px] On a murky winter morning, China Airline's sole remaining A340-300 pushes back from stand E17 as she embarks on her short flight back home to Taipei as CI642. This particular aircraft carries the "Climate Monitoring" sticker, with special equipment carried on board for that cause. The A340 will be retired from the CI fleet sometime in 2017, leaving only Lufthansa flying the A340 into Hong Kong regularly.
