This aircraft was originally built by Canadian Car & Foundry (CC&F) in 1942 as a Hurricane Mk.IIB. First post-restoration Flight was performed by Ross Pay at Scone on 02Oct2016. ( First flight of a Hurricane in Australia since WWII.) Aircraft painted as RAF 46 Squadron Hurricane V6748 Code PO, the aircraft being flown by Pilot Officer John Crossman (of Newcastle NSW), when he was shot down during the Battle of Britain. The aircraft was flown solo by Ross Pay, and in a warbird formation, during the 2017 Hunter Valley Airshow.
