Appropriately the aircraft is RAAF Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II A35-001 Cn AU-1, the First RAAF F-35A, taken at the 2017 Australian International Airshow at Avalon YMAV on 04Mar2017. The aircraft was being flown by Sqn Ldr Andrew Jackson, who flew the aircraft from USA via Guam, in company with A35-002, for this airshow appearance. Both aircraft will return to USA to continue participation in the F-35 International Training program.
