Just as we began our descent, thin high cirrus clouds clearly showed 22 degree sundogs on either side of the sun blocked by the jet's winglet. Had there been a bit more cirrus, the full halo (rainbow) around the sun would have been seen (note the separation of the colors due to refraction). This aircraft, at the time of this photo, was less than a year old (1200x800 pixels).
