A shot from my first visit to this iconic place! Sitting just south of the runway at the 03 end, this spot is very easily walkable from Matagorda and affords superb views of the approaching aircraft if runway 03 is in use. It's only really of any use photographically earlier in the day before the sun swings round to the north side but it's well worth an early start! Binter's EC-MNN can be seen drifting gently overhead on arrival from Las Palmas.
