History: Built by De Havillands at Stag Lane in 1931 to the design of Don Juan La Cierva, whose Company supplied the rotor assembly. It used the Cabin of a DH 80A Puss Moth, and a Gypsy Major III engine of 120 HP, giving a maximum speed of 115 MPH. The aircraft is on permanent loan from the London Science Museum.
