[1600px] Until recently EVA's 77Ws were frequent visitors to Hong Kong, making appearances on a daily basis to fill time up after transcontinental missions. But with the saturation of the Taipei-Hong Kong route, the airline has instead placed the big jets on lucrative services to Mainland China, with services to HKG flown by A321s more often. As a result, EVA widebodies have become more of a rarity in the city. B-16708 was sitting at her gate after being diverted alongside a number of her 'siblings' as a typhoon was hitting TPE.
