Landing during a snowfall in Novosibirsk. Today, October 31, Novosibirsk international airport (Tolmachevo) has officially started regular service with Lufthansa Cargo. The Airline moved its techical stop point from Krasnoyarsk to Novosibirsk. Lufthansa Cargo uses MD-11F and the aircraft needs one technical landing for refueling on the routes Frankfurt – Shanghai and Frankfurt – Guangzhou. From now on this techical landing will be in Novosibirsk. This decision is due to economic reasons only, it will safe time and money for Lufthansa Cargo 'cause of outsourcing service at Novosibirsk. In Krasnoyarsk Lufthansa Cargo had to maintain its own service.
