Aer Lingus' new service from Hartford to Dublin is BDL's first transatlantic service since Northwest Airlines/Delta pulled their Amsterdam flight nearly 10 years ago. Here, Shamrock 1 Kilo Lima, better known as Shamrock 131, pulls onto the airline's new gate, A7. This same gate was used by the Northwest Amsterdam flight, also flown with a 757.
