A 100 Sqn T.1 from RAF Leeming is seen here undergoing overhaul by the Aircraft Maintenance and Storage Unit at RAF Shawbury. The unit is one of three responsible for major overhaul of the remaining RAF and Royal Navy Hawk T.1s. The type is intended to remain active with 100 Sqn and FRADU until 2027 and with the Red Arrows until 2030. Major Overhauls of airframes with the lowest hours are undertaken in a sequence intended to extend the life of the type as long as possible.
