Jakarta's international airport is great for spotting those old planes littered around everywhere. It was only 10 years or so ago when they still had Merpati Viscounts sitting around! These days it is more MD80s and 737-200s. Kartika Airlines has since gone bust and Lion Air who had the MD80 in the background now operate a modern fleet of 737NGs and A330s (and two ageing 747-400s)
