I have built this RV-7 at home together with some friends beetween 2008 and 2014. It's first flight was in February 2014. It was the second RV-7 that we built. It's very impressive kits for homebuilding that Vans makes! It flies great, it's a great X-country machine sine it flies fast (130 KIAS at 55% power, 155 KIAS at 75%) and have great range: 6hr 15 mins + 30 min reserve. It's aerobatic limits are +6/-3 G's and it's a great acro-machine too! and it's shortfield performance is great: t/o and landings at MTOW 1800 lbs is approx 250 metres!
