VH-EBC occupying gate 1 after operating a charter flight to fly home the North Queensland Cowboys NRL team plus supporters following their 17-16 extra time win against the Brisbane Broncos the previous day in the Grand Final. The Jetstar A320 on gate 2 was also a charter from Sydney flying more of the thousands of supporters who flew down to attend the game.
