This 208 sqn Hawk T.1 is seen here on jacks undergoing an undercarriage retraction test as part of its maintenance, which is undertaken in Gaydon Hangar by Babcock under sub-contract to BAE Systems. Although the T.1 is to be retired from 4 FTS shortly, the type will remain in service as a threat simulation aircraft with 100 Sqn at Leeming, the Royal Navy and the Red Arrows.
