Notes:

North American AT-6 Harvard IIA ZK-JJA NZ1053 Cn 88-13910 takes off (with a hilly back-drop) at the Classic Fighters Omaka Airshow (NZOM) on Sunday 05Apr2015. At rear, doing a Pairs Take-Off is North American AT-6D Harvard III ZK-ENG (NZ1078/078) Cn 88-15873 in ‘Trainer Yellow’ livery. This is Not an Air to Air Photo. These WWII Vintage Trainers are survivors from the 202 American built Harvard’s delivered to the Royal New Zealand Air Force in the 1940s. The RNZAF disposed of the Harvard’s in the mid-1970s. (Co-incidentally, ‘1053’ is the Frequency of Canberra-based Radio Station 2CA, which I listen to regularly.)
