Notes:

On static display at the excellent Solway Aviation Museum at Carlisle Airport. This particular Lightening is a former Royal Saudi Air Force F53, now masquerading as an F6 of 11 Squadron, RAF. While it's not the most aesthetically pleasing design, what it lacked in the beauty department it more than made up in its technical abilitiles being one of the best all-weather interceptors of all time and the RAF's first supersonic aircraft.
