Notes:
An otherwise "standard" side-on shot as this 747 lands on 06 as the sun sets. However, the port winglet is missing (the starboard one was intact. Records suggest that this same aircraft lost its starboard winglet on a flight from Hong Kong in September 2011. I understand from those in the industry that it is perfectly permissible to fly with one (but not both) winglets missing.
