This WWII Piston Powered/ Propeller driven Friendly Fighter Formation occurred during the Classic Fighters Omaka Airshow at Omaka Airfield (NZOM) on Saturday 04Apr2015. The closest aircraft (at top) is P-40E ZK-RMH Cn 41-25158 (NZ3009) Code 88, with Goodyear FG-1D Corsair ZK-COR Code 8 at rear. The UK Aircraft Restoration Company's owner and chief pilot, John Romain, was flying the P-40 - enthusiastically - with Keith Skilling remaining in close formation through-out. I saw both these aircraft and Pilots, and Kermit Weekes, at Hood Aerodrome Masterton NZ on 01Apr2015. This is not an April Fool’s Day Joke! Also, this is my 1600th photo posted on JP.
